Installing the app

You must be a Site administrator to install the app.

You have two options to install User Activity Timeline:

  • Option 1 - directly from the Atlassian Marketplace

  • Option 2 - within your Jira Cloud instance using the Apps menu

Option 1: Installing the app from the Atlassian Marketplace

 

To install User Activity Timeline directly from the Atlassian Marketplace:

  1. Navigate to the app listing on the Atlassian Marketplace.

  2. Select Try it free.

  3. Choose the site where you want to install the app.

  4. Review the app permissions and data management details, then select Start free trial.

Option 2: Installing the app directly from your Jira instance

 

Alternatively, you can install User Activity Timeline through the Apps menu within your Jira instance:

  1. Log in to your Jira instance.

  2. Open the Apps menu in the navigation bar and select Explore more apps.

  3. Search for User Activity Timeline.

  4. Select the app from the search results.

  5. Select Try it free.

  6. Review the app permissions and data management details, then select Start free trial.

If you are not a Site administrator, you can request installation from your administrator.
