Jira Dashboard Gadget

Jira Dashboard Gadget

Add User Activity Timeline reports to your Jira dashboard using the User Activity Timeline gadget. The gadget can display the My Activity report or any Team report created in the app.

Exclusions: System Reports and the Most/Least Active Users reports cannot be displayed in dashboard gadgets.

Add User Activity Timeline Gadget to Jira dashboard

Enter Edit mode on your Jira dashboard and select Add gadget. Search for User Activity Timeline in the gadget directory and click Add.

When you add the gadget, it defaults to the My Activity report configuration. You can adjust the display settings and click Save to view your own activity, or choose a different report from the dropdown list.

For gadgets configured to display My Activity, the gadget dynamically displays data for the currently logged-in user.

This means that on a shared dashboard, every user sees their own data, similar to how currentUser() works in JQL filters.

This allows you to switch between different views and configure the combination of elements that best fits your reporting needs.
