Components Activity Report
There are two types of component tracking available in the User Activity Timeline app:
Work Item-Level Component Activity
App Users can generate activity reports showing which components were added, changed, or removed within individual work items.
System-Level Component Activity
App Administrators can create system-level reports to monitor when components are created, updated, or deleted within Space Settings.
Work Item-Level Component Changes Report:
Click on Create report and, in the modal, enter a report name. Search for and add the users whose activity you want to track. Configure the overview and details view as needed.
In the reported activities modal, disable the default activities and enable only “Component” field.
Adjust the project filter and/or the date range to suit your reporting needs.
Component Changes System Report:
Create new system report and give it a name.
In the reported activities modal, disable the default system activities and activate only the Component section - Created, Deleted, and/or Updated.
Adjust the space filter and/or the date range to suit your reporting needs.
This is a system report accessible only to app administrators. It includes activity for all Jira instance users and cannot be added to a Jira dashboard.
