The Percent of Total target type allows you to define a numeric percentage value based on the total of the current metric, any other ready-to-use metric, or a conditional metric. Additionally, you have the flexibility to select the data source from which this metric is extracted.

Fixed target can be measured as:

  • Full metric data - shows percent completion against full metric data

  • Per x-axis item - shows completion against target for each x-axis item (displayed field)

  • Burn up - tracks progress from 0 to fixed target value

  • Burn down - tracks progress from fixed target value down to 0

You can specify whether exceeding the target should be considered Good or Bad and undesirable, in the sense that the target value represents a maximum threshold.

Find below simple examples illustrating how the calculations for individual target types are performed.
