Data Source Settings
Select and combine multiple filtering options to build the precise data set for your charts.
Select a Date field. First, choose which timestamp to filter by using the Date field dropdown. You can filter based on Jira events (such as Created, Resolved, Updated, or Work Logged) or select a custom date field from your instance.
Define the Date Range. Choose from the 3 filtering options: Quick, By days, or By dates:
Quick (dynamic) ranges are pre-defined, rolling time windows:
Current (week, 3, 6, 12 months, quarter, H1, year) includes the current incomplete period plus a number of previous full periods.
Last (week, 3, 6, 12 months, quarter, year, etc.) includes completed calendar periods.
Current 3 months include this month so far, plus the previous 2 full months.
Last 3 months include 3 fully completed months prior to the current one.
By Days (Relative range): Create a custom rolling window relative to today. You can independently set both the From and To parameters to be Past, Today, or Future number of days.
By Dates: select a fixed start and end date from the calendar.
Note: For certain scenarios, you can disable the Date Range using the toggle.
Create Multiple Data Sources for a single chart. Copy data source, delete or edit it with a simple click.
Customizable Data Source Names: Assign custom names to easily identify your data sources.
User Types and Groups: Useful for projects with distinct user roles, allowing targeted segmentation. Filter by Assignee, Reporter, Creator, Worklog Author and many more.
Project Filters: Select multiple projects or apply a saved filter to extract data from.
Attribute Segmentation: Segment data by attributes like issue type, status, priority, labels, and resolution for detailed insights.
