Custom Color Palette
Jira Administrators and App Administrators can configure a default color palette to match your organization’s branding or choose between built-in presets like the Atlassian or Light palettes. The configured palette sets the chart color sequence globally across the app for all users.
Admin View: Customizing the Palette
Go to Apps > Performance Objectives > Color palette:
Set Hex Codes: Enter exact hex codes or use the color picker icon to select custom colors.
Rearrange Sequence: Drag and drop the color blocks or use the up/down arrows to adjust the sequence. The top-to-bottom order determines chart colors (the first five colors apply to the first five displayed data sets in your chart).
Preset Themes: Quickly apply pre-configured options (Light or Atlassian) at the top right.
Save Changes.
User View: View Only Mode
Users without admin permissions can view the active palette but cannot modify hex codes or reorder colors:
The app’s gadgets adapt automatically to Jira’s light or dark theme on both Cloud and Data Center, ensuring a consistent visual experience.
