Advanced Settings (Import and Export Gadget Configurations)
The Import and Export functionality allows users to migrate gadget configurations between Jira instances and platforms.
In Jira Cloud, this functionality can be accessed via App Settings:
Side Bar → Apps → Performance Objectives → Advanced
Access all Performance Objectives gadgets available to you, grouped by dashboard, with options to:
Preview
Copy gadget configuration
Import gadget configuration
Export gadget configuration
Delete gadget configuration
To export a gadget configuration from a Jira Cloud dashboard and import it into another Cloud instance, locate the gadget and select Export. In the modal dialog, click 'Copy text' to copy the configuration.
Next, navigate to the destination dashboard, select Import, paste the copied configuration text, and confirm the action by clicking ‘Import’.
Some ID’s of projects, users, custom fields, etc., may not match on different Jira instances due to differences in the instances’ setup.
In Jira Data Center, this functionality can be accessed via:
Admin settings → Apps → Performance Objectives app → Advanced settings
