Target Set as Fixed Value
Target Set as Fixed Value
Fixed is the default target type when the Target feature is activated. It enables you to establish an exact value as the benchmark against which your Jira data will be measured.
Fixed target can be measured as:
Full metric data - shows percent completion against full metric data
Per x-axis item - shows completion against target for each x-axis item (displayed field)
Burn up - tracks progress from 0 to fixed target value
Burn down - tracks progress from fixed target value down to 0
You can specify whether exceeding the target should be considered Good or Bad and undesirable, in the sense that the target value represents a maximum threshold.
Find below simple examples illustrating how the calculations for individual target types are performed.
