Open Issues Age
Track the age of open issues using the 'Time Since' metric from the 'Created' date, and segment the data into custom distribution slots. This report helps identify issues that have been unresolved for longer periods, allowing teams to prioritize and address aging items before they become bigger bottlenecks.
Step 1: Filter the projects and open issues you wish to analyze in your data source. Add all statuses that are not in the “Resolved”category.
Step 2: Keep the default metric selection as ‘Number of issues’.
Step 3: For Display by, select the metric 'Time since' with the date “Created” and add custom metric distribution slots. In our sample, we have segmented the metric into 0-3, 3-5, 5-7, and above 7 days slots.
Step 4: Stack by ‘Status’.
