Breached SLAs – Active and Completed

The Breached SLAs - Active and Completed report visualizes all issues with the selected SLA (including custom SLAs) that have breached their target time. It distinguishes between issues that are still open with an active SLA breach and those that have been resolved or closed after breaching.

Steps to configure this report:

Step 1: Filter the relevant project and date period in the Data Source.

Step 2: Keep the default metric selection “Number of issues”.

Step 3: For “Display by,” select the SLA with the type “Is Active,” as shown in the image below.

In this sample report, we have selected the Time to Resolution SLA.

Step 4: For Stack by, select the SLA with type “Is Breached”.

The Performance Objectives' SLA field: SLA – Is Active enables reporting on cases where SLAs are configured with or without stop conditions, such as Resolution: Set. This allows teams to track whether the SLA timer is still running, even after a breach, and report accordingly.

If you only need a simple report showing the Active/Completed status of issues, regardless of their breach status, follow steps 1 to 3 and skip the 'Stack by' step.
